Ciao
Freddie Mercury, the legend!!!!11 Forever be missed, never forgotten!!!! Thank you for for your art and bringing a little more light to this world, Faroukh Bulsara!!!!
Missed and loved forevemore…
I have many memories of Queen before I even knew who they were. When I was 8 somebody played Fat Bottomed Girls and Bohemian Rhapsody, I thought they were amazing songs. A few years later I saw Flash Gordon and the Queen soundtrack caught my imagination.
I later remember hearing Radio Ga Ga the week I got my first computer back in 1984, the music still evokes the feeling I had when I heard that music for the first time.
The day Freddie died I had been out that evening, came back and saw the news. The world had lost someone special, a flamboyant musical genius who’s legacy is being carried on by Brian and Roger with We Will Rock You, the Queen Movie and the 40th Anniversary celebrations.
Today, raise a glass, think of Freddie and put on some Queen.

Sadly i wasn’t around for the Queen years featuring Freddie, but i had my first encounter which wasnt really on purpose and i didnt know who they were, i remember watching Waynes World and seeing the scene where they were singing Bohemian Rhaspody in the car and absoluetly fell in love with Queen, i went and bought Greatest Hits I and II (that was the only thing my walmart had) and played them all night. Now here i am 4 years later the only 16 year old in my town who knows who Queen or Freddie Mercury is, and sadly he died November 24th, 1991. Rest in Peace Freddie, thanks for the 20 golden years that you had with Queen and most importantly thanks for all the music!
